Adidas Pure Boost X Takeover – London

Feeling very lucky that I could attend this Adidas Event in London. 20 women were drawn and could take their best friend for an evening of running and socialising.

It was all about the latest Adidas Boost X Shoes which we all were testing out for a 5k run.

We started in a cool West London location with a warm up and ran a 5km route along the canal to Oxford St store.

It was for all abilities. Fast runners at the front and more an easy jog at the back.

This was perfect for my #MarathonTraining. After the 15miles (25km) run on Sunday, running with Adidas was my recovery run. My pace was easy and steady while chatting to other fitness bloggers and friends.

Left pic was before and the right pic after we all swapped our shoes.

Mingling, taking pictures and chatting away until the warmup started.

Meeting up with #fitnessblogger friends Ellen and Fleur

Looking stylish in Adidas. Loving the colours! Let’s run! I was excited to test the shoes again. A few months back I was able to run in them already when Adidas launched Pure Boost X in Victoria Park.

I always take my pis while running. It works! It’s fun and here we go… Hi ladies!

Running along the canal was lovely. Luckily not too busy. We all spread out quite well and it was funny when some people on bikes or walking were cheering us on. This route was my old run to work commute and we passed my house.

The fast group was waiting for us!

We all arrived happy and hungry in the Oxford Str. store were refreshments and a DJ was waiting for us. Cheers to an great event! And can you believe it or not we could trade in  our old shoes for the new Adidas Pure Boost X. Amazing! Thanks!!!

The shoes felt snuck on my feed, very light weight and bouncy when you run in them. I personally think they are great for shorter runs like 5 – 10km. For longer distance I would choose more support. I think in these shoes I will do a new PB in my 5km parkrun.

Let’s run and see…
